With only 4 days to go before Muswell Hill’s first ever Geisterfest, our little ‘village’ on the hill has gone Hallowe’en mad!
The Geisterfest is a community festival, and we have all been kept very busy planning for the 31st October.
There will be loads of activities for children and adults alike; here’s a schedule of what’s going on:
My husband David Farrant and myself will be at O’Neill’s with our good friend and fellow author Paul Adams. If you would to ask any of us questions about the various books we have written which feature Highgate’s paranormal residents then come on up! Signed copies of Haunted Highgate will also be available, naturally, as will copies of Beyond the Highgate Vampire by David Farrant as well as many more of his books, and Paul Adam’s new book Written in Blood : A cultural history of the British vampire.
You can read about some of the vendors who will be manning stalls upstairs at O’Neill’s on Muswell Hill Broadway here:
In between costume-making, window-dressing and event planning, I managed to get out and about yesterday and take some snaps of the fantastic Hallowe’en window displays which are appearing all over Muswell Hill.
Its great to see so many local traders taking part in the Hallowe’en festivities and gearing up for our first ever Geisterfest! And did you know that Crocodile Antiques is short listed for the best Shop AND best Cafe in N10 in the Time Out best local business awards! Please go to the link below and vote for them now! (Also forward this to all your friends too!!!)
I hope you enjoy them,
