Hidden Highgate in the Ham and High!

I knew it was coming, but didn’t want to tempt fate by mentioning it in advance. But as it is now in newsagents – and was on the front page of the Hampstead and Highgate Express’ on Hallowe’en itself – here it is. An interview with yours truly, about my forthcoming book Haunted Highgate, and the website which you are looking at right now.

Thanks to Nathalie Raffray for her hard work in putting this article together and ploughing through all the nonsense and lunacy which a Google search upon myself returns – we did have fun! I got the impression that the Ham and High offices were a riot when I told them what they would find – and what to expect in the comments section. Well that’s all fair enough – some of the lunatic fringe out there do beggar belief! Without wishing to go all Gwyneth Paltrow, thanks also to Polly Hancock for a fun photoshoot too, and for trudging up Swains Lane on foot while it was trying to rain to meet me in time for our tryst. And thanks to ‘Heathman’ for including the article in his respected weekly diary.

Hits on the website have gone ‘dynamental’ since the publication of the article, so sorry if anyone has tried to connect and not been able.  I am in the process of upgrading to a server which can handle the volume of traffic better.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind comments and support, and for checking the site out and providing links to it elsewhere.   For a small town girl its all a bit overwhelming!

Here’s hoping the article helps to continue the interest shown in so many private emails so far, in true tales of the paranormal in Highgate.
